INCISENT Technologies: Front End Engineer

Full-time

(Chicago, IL) Ideal candidates: front end engineers who enjoy the challenges of building the presentation tier of our complex, high performance decision support tool. Ideal candidates good visual design skills but this isn't primarily a design job.

As a key team member, you will be expected to work with UI designers/product management and help provide input into the application design process. Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively is a must.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the following:
+(X)HTML
+JavaScript and DOM Scripting
+Web page design layout using CSS 2 and Web standards
+Cross platform/browser compatibility
+Adobe Photoshop
+Experience with an MVC application framework such as JSP, ASP.Net, Ruby on Rails or PHP.

Familiarity with the following is desired:
+AJAX using AJAX.Net, JQuery or Prototype
+Adobe Flash

Candidate should have:
+Minimum of 6 years experience in web application interface development including experience with dynamic data driven web applications.
+Portfolio of work and sample URLs.
+Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with highly skilled peers.
+Flexibility with work schedule as the changing pace of multiple projects and demands dictate.

Responsibilities:
+Create/implement intuitive user experiences
+Transforming written business requirements/visual comps into simple, clean workflows using expert level HTML/CSS, Javascript frameworks.
