Workhorse Interactive: Client side developers

In search of freelance/contract client side developers: Actionscript/Flash, HTML/CSS, AJAX, and Objective C. CMS experience a definite plus. Workhorse Interactive is an interactive development shop, and most of our clients are ad/design houses without developers of their own.

We have an immediate need for an Actionscript/Flash developer. You should have a good handle on AS2 and be ramping up on AS3, and be comfortable working with XML and deep linking approaches. You should be in or near Chicago and have some on-site availability at our client's River North office. You will be performing ongoing maintenance and updates to an ad agency's Flash website. This project requires a weekly status meeting that you can dial in for.

HTML developers will need to be equally comfortable writing elegant HTML4/5 and cranking out html emails in tables with inline styles. We're a .Net shop and big fans of jQuery.

Thirdly, we're looking for Objective-C developers to help us turn our iPhone and iPad prototype webapps into real Apps.

Preference will be given to applicants who can take an occasional meeting in Chicago. Some projects will require onsite kickoff meetings or work, scheduled in advance.

We work with established and up-and-coming design agencies and small businesses. We've built websites for mom and pops and Fortune 500s. We're growing, and looking for people to grow with us.
